🔵Participates in the workshop held in Basra entitled “The Role of Civil Society in the Southern Governorates in Intervening in the Climate Crisis,” which will be held at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Basra on July 24-25, 2024.
The workshop aims to explore the need to integrate civil society actors into frameworks for responding to the climate crisis in the southern governorates.
🔵Strengthening cooperation between civil society, governorate authorities, and crisis response cells to prevent and mitigate climate-related conflicts in the southern governorates.
🔵Developing implementable recommendations on the practical roles and responsibilities of civil society and national actors in preventing and responding to climate crises in the southern governorates.
