Where the session dealt with several topics, the most important of which was how to take the necessary measures to reduce the risks of extending the salt tongue and the high percentage of salinity in the Shatt Al-Arab. For his part, the participants talked about the importance of improving local policies in Basra that would clean the water of the Shatt Al-Arab from plastic waste and increase the share of water releases
